Overview
Qatar Foundation (QF) and TED are celebrating their three-year partnership by hosting the TEDinArabic Doha Summit. TEDinArabic is an initiative from TED and Qatar Foundation to provide a global platform for thinkers, researchers, artists, and change-makers across the Arabic-speaking world. Through this partnership, TEDinArabic hosted various regional events and activations leading up to the main event, the TEDinArabic Doha Summit, as a testament to this partnership's success and its positive impact on the Arab world.
The summit will be held in Doha and will showcase the boldest and most inspiring ideas under the theme "The Butterfly Effect," a subtle yet powerful reminder that the impact of TEDinArabic is intended to endure long after the summit.
The butterfly effect rests on the notion that the world is deeply interconnected, such that one small occurrence can influence a much larger complex system. It is also a testament that our actions today can have a collective and lasting impact on the future.
The event will be held at the Qatar National Convention Centre in Doha on 18-19 March 2023. It will feature more than 15 inspiring speakers, main performances, social spaces, and various sessions and activations focusing on creativity, language, science, and discovery.
