Overview
The College of Islamic Studies at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and the Doha International Family Institute (DIFI) at Qatar Foundation seek to raise awareness about the dangers facing the contemporary family, enhance the role of knowledge in the social field, and provide those working in it with successful experiences and practices. In the 3rd season of the seminars, we will address pressing issues such as post-divorce relationships, financial relations between spouses, family silence, and the impact of social media. In each seminar, we are keen to address the issue from all its legal, social, and judicial dimensions. The seminar will be a dialogue that answers everything that is on the minds of the attendees and those interested.
This seminar will discuss, from a jurisprudential, social, and legal perspective, the following topics:
- The current reality of financial participation between spouses.
- The impact of the wife’s financial contribution on her financial rights, her husband, and her children.
- The influence of financial stability between spouses on the modern family.
- The ideal financial arrangement between spouses.
