Overview
This workshop introduces the concept of sensory integration and explains how the brain processes and organizes sensory input from the environment. It explores different types of sensory processing and how sensory integration challenges may appear in children, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Participants will gain practical strategies to better understand sensory-related behaviors and learn how to support children with autism through structured environments, appropriate sensory activities, and individualized approaches that promote regulation, participation, and overall well-being.
