AS Level Biology Course

The classes will cover the core content plus relevant practical demonstrations and actual practical work by the students for 2 of the topics taught in an AS Biology course:
- Biological Molecule
- Cells
It will include practical techniques using a wide range of experimental and practical instruments, equipment, and techniques. Students will have an opportunity to do practical work, plot and interpret graphs, process and analyze data, and complete past exam papers.

Course Goals
Students who complete this course will be able to:
• Show a greater understanding and mastery of the subject knowledge.
• Demonstrate a greater skill in applying the scientific method, data analysis, evaluation, and concluding.
• Gain a greater understanding of the knowledge and practical techniques required for Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3 of the AS Level course.
• Apply that knowledge and their skills in practical techniques to completing Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3 of the AS Level course.
