Overview
This workshop introduces parents and teachers to interoception, the body’s internal sense and a key foundation for self-regulation. Interoception helps children recognize internal signals such as emotions, stress, hunger, and energy levels, enabling them to respond more calmly and effectively.
Participants will explore why some children struggle with emotional regulation, attention, and behavior, and how developing body awareness can support learning, social interaction, and self-management at home and in the classroom. Practical strategies will be shared to help children regulate their responses before emotions escalate.
The workshop is especially beneficial for children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and challenges with emotional regulation.
