Listening Beyond Words: Supporting Communication & Sensory Processing in Children with Hearing Loss

Overview

This workshop aims to build awareness of the differences between hearing loss and communication differences associated with autism, while addressing common misconceptions about hearing impairment. Participants will learn to recognize early signs of hearing difficulties, understand the different types of hearing loss, and become familiar with basic medical interventions.
