TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE HERFAH PROGRAM AT AL KHATER HOUSE
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before completing your registration and payment.
In these Terms and Conditions, the term "Class", “Program” or "Workshop" refers to the workshops delivered as part of the Herfah Program at Al Khater House in the State of Qatar. Qatar Foundation reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Once agreed upon by participants, the amended terms will take immediate effect.
1. Disclaimer
- By registering for this Workshop, I agree to release Qatar Foundation, its instructors, staff, and all affiliated parties from any liability for injuries, accidents, or other incidents that may occur during participation.
- I authorize Qatar Foundation representatives to administer necessary first aid and, in case of an emergency, to transport me to a hospital in Doha. I acknowledge that all associated costs will be my responsibility.
- Qatar Foundation reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Program as necessary.
- Qatar Foundation will not be liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property of participants.
- This Program is exclusively available to residents of Qatar. By registering, I confirm that I hold a valid residency permit (QID) and currently reside in Qatar.
2. Age Requirement
- Participants must be at least 18 years of age to register for and participate in this Program.
- By registering, I confirm that I meet the minimum age requirement.
3. Photography and Media Consent
- By participating in this Program, I consent to the taking, use, and publication of photographs and videos by Qatar Foundation's designated photographers. These may be used for Qatar Foundation’s marketing, media, and communication purposes across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, promotional materials, and publications.
- I confirm that I am not subject to any legal or personal restrictions that would affect the use of my images.
Optional Consent: Participants may opt-out of media consent by ticking the appropriate box during registration. If consent is not given, Qatar Foundation will make reasonable efforts to ensure the participant is not included in photographs or videos.
4. Registration and Payment
- To secure my place in the Workshop, I agree to complete payment of the QAR 200 fee before the start of the Program.
- Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is only guaranteed upon receipt of full payment.
- Late payments or incomplete registration forms may result in the forfeiture of my place in the Workshop.
5. Refunds and Credit Notes
- Refund Requests: Refunds are only considered in cases of medical necessity. Participants must submit a formal request via email along with a valid medical certificate. Approval of refunds is at the sole discretion of Qatar Foundation management.
- Program Modifications: If the Program is delayed, rescheduled, or canceled by Qatar Foundation, refunds will not be issued. Instead, participants will receive a credit note valid for use in future workshops.
- Missed Classes: No refunds or make-up sessions will be provided for classes missed due to personal reasons or changes in circumstances.
- Non-Refundable Situations: Refunds will not be provided for changes to class content, scheduling conflicts, or dissatisfaction with the Program, unless legally required.
6. Health and Safety
- All participants must adhere to Qatar Foundation’s Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
- Participants with existing medical conditions, allergies, or disabilities that may impact their participation must inform the Program Coordinator at the time of enrollment. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in exclusion from the Program without a refund.
- Qatar Foundation reserves the right to remove participants who fail to comply with health and safety requirements.
7. Code of Conduct
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and fellow participants. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the Program without a refund.
- Damage caused intentionally or through reckless behavior to Qatar Foundation property will result in the participant being held liable for repair or replacement costs.
8. Intellectual Property
- All materials, content, and resources provided during the Program remain the intellectual property of Qatar Foundation or its licensors.
- Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials outside the Program without prior written consent.
9. Program Adjustments
- Qatar Foundation reserves the right to adjust the content, schedule, instructors, or venue of the Program as needed to ensure the quality of delivery.
- Any significant changes will be communicated to participants in advance, where possible.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Herfah Program, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined above.
I also confirm that I meet the eligibility requirements for participation, including the minimum age of 18 years, and have disclosed any medical or other conditions that may affect my ability to participate.
