Overview
This event is part of the celebration of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture, highlighting the history of Morocco through archival collections.
In this lecture, we will explore and showcase Morocco’s rich and diverse civilization, using a variety of archival and documentary materials preserved in the Heritage Library.
This collection reflects the centuries-old relationship between the countries of the Islamic East, especially the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, and the distant country of Morocco, which was often mentioned but rarely visited.
This virtual lecture will be presented via Zoom by Dr. Moez Al-Dridi in Arabic, and English interpretation will be provided.
