Overview
Ryan Dennis focuses on African American contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on socially engaged practices, site-specific projects, and public interventions. She is the chief curator and artistic director of the Center for Art and Public Exchange at the Mississippi Museum of Art.
"Wavelength" is an online lecture series held in collaboration between VCUarts, the Institute of Contemporary Art, and VCUarts Qatar. A dynamic group of artists, designers, curators, and scholars have been invited to share their work with the VCU communities in Richmond and Doha as well as the general public throughout the 2020-2021 academic year.
