Overview
The UNESCO Chair on Environmental Law and Sustainable Development at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), in partnership with the Rule of Law Programme Middle East and North Africa of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), and the Youssef SADER Foundation for Legal Culture, is proud to host the 2024 Rule of Law Forum.
A flagship annual event of KAS, the Rule of Law Forum covers current, relevant regional rule of law topics. Its overall goal is to highlight and discuss current dynamics and happenings within the scope of the rule of law in the Middle East and North Africa.
This year's forum covers the following themes:
- Enhancing Judicial Transparency and Public Relations
- Enhancing Business Accountability for Human Rights in the MENA Region
- The Implementation of International Environmental Treaties in Arab States
- Artificial Intelligence (Al)
- International Legal Frameworks for Addressing Conflicts in the MENA Region
