Al Ghorrah (الغُرًّة) signifies the beginning of something, and its most valuable part. Al Ghorrah celebrates the cultural heritage and arts of Arab Islamic civilizations in all their various forms and outputs. It is a platform for expression where talents, artists, artisans, and other creators can interact through their work with an audience of local communities, art enthusiasts and families.
Al Ghorrah will take place at Oxygen Park in Education City from 28 November to 2 December 2024, running daily from 5pm to 10pm.
To attend the general events at Al-Ghorrah, you can purchase tickets for each day of the event. Some events, such as the Specialized Workshops, require a separate ticket that is not included with the main ticket.
You can reach Al Ghorrah at Oxygen Park by car, or by using public transport. If you are coming by car, please follow the signs to get to the parking or the drop-off area. The park is within walking distance from the metro station at Education City. From the station, you can walk or take the EC Tram to Oxygen Park.
Yes, there are multiple public parking areas in Education City. You can park in the Education City Mosque Parking and then walk to Oxygen Park. You can also park in Southeast Car Park and take the EC Tram to Oxygen Park.
General workshops are included with the purchase of a general ticket for Al Ghorrah. However, specialized workshops require separate tickets, which are not included in the general one. Please note that a separate ticket is needed for each day of Al Ghorrah.
